Basic dress sewing pattern size 34 - 46 - The Fashion Basement

A basic sewing pattern is the simplest version of a garment.
The basic dress is a dress that sits high at the neck, is comfortable across the bust, slightly fitted down to the waist, close-fitting over the hips and ends above the knee with a long straight sleeve.
With this basic sewing pattern you can vary endlessly and make all dresses that have a regular to slightly looser fit. (so not an oversized or very tight-fitting dress) This dress includes both a bust dart and a shoulder dart to achieve a nicely fitting shape. There is also a small waist dart in the front and in the back.
Our basic sewing pattern includes 9 cup sizes for every clothing size, so you are sure to find a size that fits you well.
