Catch the Sun is a top or dress for the sunniest summer days in size 92 - 152. The loop at the back gives wings to a sun-kissed back. The sewing pattern is an ideal introduction to terry towelling or French terry, sewn with a regular sewing machine and/or overlocker.

Requirements:

• Top: between 35 and 55 cm French Terry or jersey , depending on the size
• Dress: between 50 and 100 cm French Terry or jersey, depending on the size
• An extra strip of jersey or jersey tape for the neckband
• 30 to 110 cm elastic of 1 cm wide, depending on size and options.

Please note! The neckband of this top or dress is made by braiding narrow strips of jersey together. The stretchiness of this neckline depends strongly on the material used, and gave a different result in every test. Therefore, the instructions include a step where it is necessary to have the child nearby while making it, in order to cut the neckband to size.
