About our Laure sweater and top for women & teens:

Laure is a sewing pattern to make an oversized top where the sleeves steal the show.
You can choose half-length sleeves, finished with a wide cuff, and long sleeves where the gathered insert turns your sleeves and top into a real statement piece :-).
You can finish the neckline with a regular, standing neckband if you are working with stretchy fabrics.
For non-stretchy fabrics, finish the neckline with bias binding stitched to the inside.
If you are working with stretchy fabrics, you can finish the hem with a waistband to create a sweater effect.

Laure can be made from stretchy and non-stretchy fabrics.
Ideal fabric matches include sweatshirt fabric, French terry, jacquard, twill, scuba crepe, supple denim, jacquard jersey, sequined fabric,..
Heavier fabrics with some texture and body are also suitable.
